Insurance Defense:
Our insurance defense practice provides a full range of services to the insurance industry. Our experience encompasses a wide variety of matters representing the insured including: personal injury, premises liability, professional liability, transportation/trucking, employment, dram shop, product liability, and other types of tort liability.

Our attorneys regularly advise clients in the areas of coverage, reinsurance, excess insurance, bad faith, and a variety of other complex insurance issues.

Our insurance defense practice includes representing local and national insurance carriers and their policyholders in matters pending in the state and federal courts throughout Missouri and Kansas.


Trucking Defense:
Our firm regularly represents the trucking industry in the defense of claims and lawsuits arising from trucking accidents. Our firm has been a member of the Trucking Industry Defense Association (TIDA) since its inception. Mike Matteuzzi devotes a significant portion of his practice to the defense of these claims. Mr. Matteuzzi has frequently lectured to industry related organizations and routinely attends the annual meetings of the Trucking Industry Defense Association.

Appellate Practice:
The attorneys at our firm have briefed and argued numerous cases in State and Federal Courts of Appeals and one of our attorney's clerked for the Kansas Court of Appeals and for the U.S. Court of Appeals for the Tenth Circuit.
